Good food, low price, good service, excellent variety, typical americanized chinese buffet. If you're looking for Chinese, this is by far the best you'll find locally. I've been coming here twice weekly for ages. The staff is extremely courteous and even more friendly when you get to know them. Food is typical americanized chinese courses. For the price you can't beat it in the area.

I only came here based on the 4 and 5 star reviews of others here on YELP. Today I have learned a valuable lesson. Do not always rely on reviews you read online. The food is mediocre at best. Very limited selection, mostly fried. The only tasty thing is the peanut chicken. So sad I didn't go to Manor Buffet or even Star Buffet in Lancaster instead. Do yourself a favor, if you're in New Holland drive the few extra miles south to get more variety and much fresher foods - especially at Manor Buffet. There's no comparison.

Though there are better Chinese buffets in Lancaster city, this one beats other options (notably the one in Ephrata, yuck) in the area. Decent selection, was very fresh during our lunch. Good service, clean, low price. For $7 you're not going to get sushi or seafood other than fried shrimp. The bourbon chicken was especially good.

I went out of my way on the basis of Yelp reviews. The staff was large but the selection was very small. The tattooed staff was not friendly at all. The man emerged from the back room with the look like I owed him money. I should have walked out but I gave the place a try. Actually, the staff was kind of strange to me and I felt uncomfortable. I got excited that they served bourbon chicken but it tasted boiled with no flavor. Smallest buffet I've been to. This is the first Chinese I've been to in Lancaster County. Are they all this bad? It looks like I'll have to fly to San Francisco for some real Chinese.

You definitely get your money's worth, although it's important to mention that the general philosophy is quantity over quality (though the selection is nowhere near as exhaustive as other Chinese buffets). If you're looking to fill your tummy and can live with the risk of getting indigestion, then this is your stop.

Great Chinese buffet place. Nothing real fancy but the food is excellent and the price is right. It's cheaper to go for lunch rather than dinner. The dinner buffet, however, has a greater selection of foods. Great place to stop for a lunch break.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
